I don’t make a habit of talking about the way people look, but since these women have made a conscious decision to alter their looks in such a dramatic fashion, I think they’re fair game.
The world is becoming a scary place now that plastic surgery is relatively affordable. With all the women walking around looking like platypuses, I often wonder if they feel more attractive than they did before these procedures. Also, what do their husbands and significant others say? Are they happy with the results? I can’t imagine they would be, but maybe they look better in person (shrugs).
There’s nothing wrong with a little rhinoplasty (nose job) or a breast augmentation (boob job), but for crying out loud, do these people ask to see the doctor’s portfolio before they go under the knife?? For instance, after seeing Michael’s [Jackson] nose, being Janet or Latoya, there’s no way I would have consulted the same doctor, but clearly they did.
Why anyone would intentionally do this to their face is beyond me. Most of them probably would have looked better, and may have aged gracefully, if they had just left well enough alone.
Why write an article like this? I sincerely hope that while perusing the internet, a young or old woman currently considering plastic surgery because she is not satisfied with her reflection will be scared straight by the honesty and sincerity of this article, and rediscover her beauty – wrinkles, itty bitties and all.
We all have imperfections, but these pictures prove that what God gave us is usually just fine.
